As a side note, I should probably admit right off that my answer to 'why I friended you' will be the same to everyone- I never friend anyone until they've friended me.   I'm far too shy (yes, really) to randomly friend people.

No, not any more. I had to use them a bit in my first few jobs though. I had to do a lot of starting again!
