broken brain babbles

The [livejournal.com profile] tw100  challenge this week is "plot reverse" where you slip the characters into another show.  Of course the first thing I thought of was the Master making the pouty face at the end of LOTTL and yelling "And I would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for you meddling kids!"  but that's DW and not TW.  Come on though, can't you just picture that?

(no one has any clue what I'm talking about, do they?)

Hehe! I'm surprised he hasn't made it there yet, actually. Does British TV show Sesame Street? It must, every other country does. When I was a kid, we had a special Canadian segment in each show, since, at the time, shows had to have a certain amount of 'Canadian content' in them. So we had a few Canadian muppets (a pilot named Dodie and a bear named Basil and a girl in a wheelchair whose name I can't recall) and a 'learn to speak French' thing. I wonder if the Brits ever had anything like that?

we had Sesame Street - but no special English content...

The only things I remember about the Canadian content are Dodie doing a 'rap' about 'wrapping paper' and this one segment where Basil imagined a world full of litter, which turned into a big ball that chased him down a hill. Katie is the name of the girl in the wheelchair, according to wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Tv_sesame_park_katie.jpg). What would we do without wiki?

wiki is awesome and made of win. I don't always trust it's info, but at least tends to be close to correct

That is an awesome wheelchair!
