The Master

Delgado vs Ainley.

Over the past week the kids and I have watched "Claws of Axos" and  "Logopolis."   And, I have to admit, I didn't see a huge difference in the two Masters.

Simm!Master was an entirely different character, but these two seems almost the same.  What sort of differences do you see between Delgado and Ainley's Masters?

To me...Delgado is classier (if dramatic), Ainley a bit more flashy/camp depending on the writing. They're both very classic villain and smooth, but with a slightly different feel to 'em. Uh. Somehow. I don't describe it well, do I?

Ainley Master was also flat-out nasty in Survival, which I really need a copy of.

No, that makes sense. Nearly identical, but not from exactly the same mold. Yes?

Survival is absolutely excellent. A very good high point for the show to go out on.
