The Master

Delgado vs Ainley.

Over the past week the kids and I have watched "Claws of Axos" and  "Logopolis."   And, I have to admit, I didn't see a huge difference in the two Masters. 

Simm!Master was an entirely different character, but these two seems almost the same.  What sort of differences do you see between Delgado and Ainley's Masters?

I didn't see that much difference either, but I haven't seen a *lot* of either of them. My main impression was that he was more ineffective than I expected. But fun! And obsessed with the Doctor. :)

I've seen other serials with the Master (more of Ainley then Delgado to be truthful), but I have to check to see which one is in which.

His plans are... interesting and ineffective. Logopolis in particular was sort of 'hmm, I had this great plan but missed the little detail the unraveled the universe. Silly me' errr.. okay.

Definitely obsessed with the Doctor though. Beating the Doctor, proving himself to the Doctor, besting the Doctor. Something
