I like peanut butter

I like my cat.

I do not like peanut butter ON my cat.

Bloody evil fuzzbutt.

BWAHAHA. Um. Sorry. Not funny.

[identity profile] stackcats.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)
*Laughs* I wonder if Fuzzbutt himself is entirely happy with peanut butter on him?

I discovered yesterday that Patchcat likes tomato ketchup.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 09:30 pm (UTC)(link)
He thought I was doing something with tuna or meat of somekind and was majorily under foot. And tripped me. peanut butter EVERYWHERE. *sighs*

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 09:30 pm (UTC)(link)
He was HORRIFIED. Perhaps moreso when I tried to get it off of him. He hates being groomed

ketchup? really?

[identity profile] snakewhissperer.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 09:39 pm (UTC)(link)
you know they do it just to torment us, right?

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 09:40 pm (UTC)(link)
they are all evil

[identity profile] k-haldane.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 09:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Did you edit this? I kind of liked 'Fizzbutt' as your cat's name. :D

*mental image of cat on Pepto-Bismol tablets, or those fizzing vitamins you put in water*

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 09:44 pm (UTC)(link)
yeah, it's supposed to be fuzzbutt. Fizzbutt has an altogether different connotation

[identity profile] aeron-lanart.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 09:54 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sorry, I laughed. I couldn't help it.
Silly cat.
Did you take a picture? Can you make a cat macro out of it?

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 09:56 pm (UTC)(link)
no picture- too busy chasing him so he wouldn't get peanut butter EVERYWHERE. Especially under the couch and then bed, his two favorite hiding places

[identity profile] aeron-lanart.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 09:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Peanut butter in either of those places would have been a Bad Thing, you were definitely better catching him.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 10:01 pm (UTC)(link)
he's mostly clean now. But pissed at me and hiding

[identity profile] aeron-lanart.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 10:05 pm (UTC)(link)
I am very glad I don't have a cat. The dog will just do what *I* want her to do as I am boss, and the gerbils don't get into that sort of trouble.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 10:08 pm (UTC)(link)
dogs can get underfoot too, but not as badly i think

[identity profile] rustydog.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 10:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Hee! My cat loves spaghetti sauce.

[identity profile] rustydog.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 10:10 pm (UTC)(link)
It's uncanny, two of my last three posts have been about peanut butter and cats. Is Fuzzbutt reading my LJ? (This icon has never seemed more appropriate!)

Good luck getting it off. He'll probably have to groom the last bits himself.

[identity profile] aeron-lanart.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh she gets underfoot, but she'll also get out of the way and stay out of the way if I tell her to, plus the kitchen is big enough that I can tell her to sit on the mat by the back door and I won't fall over her.

You can't tell a cat what to do and expect it to take any notice...

I have a chaise lounge. On it, I keep a folded quilt which the cats lie on. It keeps their grungy, dirt-digging selves off my furniture. Recently, for a whim, I put a towel on top of that. Next to it are the footrest thingys that come with furniture these days.

So, my talented, furball heaving cat managed to hit the towel, the quilt, and the footrest with one good heave. Three surfaces, one furball. \o/ FTW! Now, if only the Olympics had a furball heaving event.

I don't know, Puppy was a master at getting tangled up in my legs. At least as good at it as TimeKitty! It's hard to say which is worse, because Puppy could trip me, but I'm afraid I'll hurt TimeKitty.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
well, me using peanut butter was a direct result of our conversation on it (with a push by _medley_) With damp towels I got most of it off him. He's off sulking now

[identity profile] rustydog.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 10:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Aw, sorry! Hopefully he won't get into that kind of trouble again.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 10:14 pm (UTC)(link)
very talented furball you have there. It's a good thing they are so cute and purry or we'd never have put up with them this long

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 10:14 pm (UTC)(link)
you can tell them what to do... but you're right- they won't take any notice

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
hopefully... but I don't put much stock in it

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_medley_/ 2009-01-15 10:30 pm (UTC)(link)
*winces a lot* Bet that was fun to clean out of his fur. Baby wipes? I know you don't have a baby, but I'm a big believer in baby wipes since Michaela came along. They are useful. (Not bad for dusting, either.)
