Torchwood

So, what I want to know is....

Where is the bloody SUV?

(Yeah, there were other things, but that plot point bugs me for some reason)

I *really* wish the SUV storyline hadn't happened. It's just... lame. Have Ianto drive his own car and have it stolen and have the SUV get destroyed in the bombing. Was it necessary to have Ianto look dumb, Torchwood look unprepared and have this dangling plot thread?

Myfanwy has to be okay. I can't believe otherwise.

Myfanwy will be fine - she can fly after all - and the bomb went off while it was still dark and she would have been out on the 'rounds' of her territory. I can imagine her being most dischuffed at the mess of the Hub...

That's what I assume too, but it would have been nice to get an official acknowledgement of it

I think they were trying to set up exactly how rough the area where Johnny and Rhiannon were living was. That makes scenes such as the kids rocking the car with the surveillance team or the local adults attacking armed police more plausible. After that things moved too fast for them to worry about a car.

I thought of that- that they were trying to show us that it was a 'bad' neighborhood. But, it could have been Ianto's own car that got stolen, not the TW SUV. It just didn't make sense that there wouldn't be extra precautions against theft on the SUV, not after John stole it in Fragments.
