Torchwood

So, what I want to know is....

Where is the bloody SUV?

(Yeah, there were other things, but that plot point bugs me for some reason)

It was found torched and abandoned and in need of a total rebuild - Rhys has it in one of the lock-ups at his haulage yard and is working on it at weekends. It's his Sunday morning married man *thing*.

In all seriousness that whole scene was obviously just a set up for the estate Ianto's siter lived in being capable of
1) forming a mob so she could sneak out of the house when she needed to meet Ianto in the park.
and
2) rioting against the soldiers in the final episode.

Which could have been done if Ianto had taken an ordinary car* IN THE FIRST place - as it wouldn't have made him look like a complete Twat and the SUV would have been destroyed anyway when Jack exploded.

*also the Torchwood SUV is a bit of a giveaway so WHY would she call him think he was a plain old Civil Servant (and so not work Saturdays) with the thing parked outside her window????

*growls*

Yes exactly- I've said almost the say thing an a bunch of comments now. Since it was never even MENTIONED again it was just STUPID!

And it really could have been solved by three more seconds of conversation between Gwen and Jack in the final scene- the SUV turned up, found some things in the rubble, etc....

I only read those *after I posted mine*

It just goes to prove that great minds think alike :D

Yup or even Gwen and Rhys turning up *driving* the SUV....

I just meant that both of us came to the same conclusion eventually.

Gwen and Rhys driving up in the SUV would have been *perfect*
