*facepalm*

When considering writing a Supernatural old west AU snippet it is important to spend two hours figuring out what illness the ghost they'd be fighting had died from.

And all morning researching what weapons they'd have access to and which would work best for their line of work

And all that before doing anything like, oh, figuring out a plot. Or reason for it to be set then. Or anything useful like that.

First time I EVER laughed at seeing a Weeping Angel.

(These things are so creepy!)

The Weeping Angels were perfect New Who creature/alien/bad guy sort of things. Totally creepy and scary without being overtly creepy and scary. I LOVED Blink

Me, too! Except the first time I watched it, I did so just before I'd been planning to go to bed, and it shot that plan all to hell - ended up having to watch another episode to be able to sleep, lol.

oh no! Yeah, right before bed isn't the best time.

A friend has a statue JUST like that that she has to pass on her way to work every day. She said it took her weeks to be able to do so without shivering again. *g*

Isn't it always TB?

Sorry, let me clarify: in fiction set in the American Old West, isn't it always TB?

Not always, and not if you want a quick death. Diptheria or cholera worked much better for what I needed.
