Writing Projects
I'd been debating doing yuletide this year because there were three fandoms that I actually had requests for this year, but now I've found out one (the one I wanted most) won't be making the final cut. :( I think I'll look into pinch hitting instead.
On the writing front the idea of NaNowrimo scares the heck out of me and even
mini_nanowrimo seems a bit too demanding, but
wrisomifu seems right on the money for me. It "is a writing group for underachievers who enjoy the company of same. To join, all you need to do is commit to writing (original fic, fanfic, to do lists, your thesis, your memoirs - anything!) for at least ten minutes each day for the entire month of November. And you are permitted - encouraged even! - to complain bitterly about every single word."
I can do that. And I thought I'd mention it in case anyone else felt the same way.

If I didn't have two people giving birth in November, I'd be tempted to try Wrisomifu. Maybe next year.

When I write, I feel like an armless legless man with a crayon in his mouth.
AWESOME.

Still, the comm's a great idea, and hopefully it'll give folks the support/kick they need ;)
