So this was my morning....


info here, the nice plume of fire was about 5 blocks from my house

Overall, having a state trooper pound on your door and tell you that the area is being evacuated is not the best way to start the day.

(I'm home now and everything is fine)

Ah, but Molly reminds Nelson that people feed ducks at ponds and there is popcorn (possibly months old and just uncovered by snow) and bread crusts and a half a bagel and a piece of sausage thing that mommy didn't let me sniff long enough and what might have been a dried up hamburger!

(Mommy was less impressed than Molly was with all of that)

Nelson is all jealous now! I had to pick him up and carry him away from a bunch of spilled fast food. He was SO SAD.

Ohhhh yes. (Ugh--I have to get up ungodly early in the morning, so I'd better head toward bed. Sleep well when you go, and have a better day tomorrow!)

ugh, I have to be up early myself and get daughter to school an hour early. I think a stop at the bakery on the way home is in order....
