Half our house is Ikea... But we always tackle it as a pair, and we do exactly what Stephen scoffs at and sort & count all the bits first.

Besides, after the first three or four pieces you get into their way of thinking and it goes more easily. I really admire their technical artists who can make instructions completely free of language for use all over the world.

I've put together the occasional piece. It is doable.. but not easy. And I think doing it with another set of hands is very helpful. :)
