There's an incredible multifandom vid set to "We Didn't Start The Fire" that encompasses FIFTY years of fandom and fannish delight right here:

http://scribe.dreamwidth.org/318883.html

There's a whole list of the fandoms there, but ones I noticed were all the Star Treks, Star Wars, Sherlock/Sherlock Holmes, Magnificent Seven, many clips of Doctor Who, Torchwood, Man from UNCLE, MASH, Beauty and the Beast, 21 Jump Street, Red Dwarf, dueSouth, Babylon 5, Community, Merlin, The West Wing, Sports Night, White Collar, Glee, Daily Show, Colbert Report, bost Battlestar Galaticas, Firefly, Harry Potter Musical, Buffy/Angel, and many many more.

It's amazingly well done. Go take a look.

Do you know if there's a secret to watching things on vimeo? I keep typing in the password and nothing happens.

Hmmm, it worked fine for me. Did you add the exclamation point?

Yep. When I left it off, it told me the password was invalid and to try again. When I included it, it just took me back to the enter password. Sad.

Hmm what browser are you using? I just tried IE and it didn't work at all, but it's fine on firefox.

There are 2 download links in the post, maybe try one of those?

Excellent vid.

I squeaked when I saw so many of my early fandoms included - Blake's Seven, Robin of Sherwood, Forever Knight, Sentinel and Highlander to name a few. I had to smile at the inclusion of Yes Minister and Monty Python.

Yes! I forgot to mention those! It still boggles my mind that some of those are still so active, I was glad they decided to do such a breadth of fandom's history, not just the recent stuff.
