Under the "Just What the Heck was I Thinking" category I've just signed up for the tardis_bigbang challenge.  So now, I've committed to a fic for that, one for karaokegal's come as you aren't party, a promised sequel/continuation to The Old Man, something for this month's wintercompanion "Crossing The Line" challenge, a previously unclaimed prompt at bringthehappy, and another attempt at a PWP for unfeathered andfandom_me.  And that's just the stuff I've committed to, not any of the random plot bunnies that are presently attacking me.

And my husband wonders why I never dust anymore.

o___o Oh, gods, that comm is temping (tardis_bigbang, I mean). Except that the longest fic I've ever written was only 7,000 words...

It sucks you in, doesn't it? As well as the drabble list of doom (this was not the time to lose my ability to write drabbles *headdesk*), I've got about 20 WIPs, 20 plot bunnies and tardis_bigbang, for which I have no idea what I'm going to write.

It's a hard life ;) But fun too! Although my husband nearly had a heart attack when he came in last night and I was actually cooking, rather that sitting at the computer...

Wow, and I thought my TW to-do list was bad! Kudos for sneaking in some actual cooking though, frozen pizza has been my friend a bit too often lately.

I haven't signed up for anything. I don't feel I can unless I have an actual idea of what I'll write. And I don't.

But Master Plan (and the odd drabble) should be keeping me busy for a good long while yet, and I'd prefer not to get too distracted from that, otherwise God knows when I'll get back to it, and I don't want to leave people hanging.

Master Pan could almost have worked for the big bang. I know how you feel though, I never made any of those tables (set2music or otherwise) for that reason.

Well, yeah, it could have worked - it's easily going to be long enough - except that a) I've already begun posting it and b) there's no way I could wait till next June to post something I knew I was going to write now, iyswim :-) That's just too far ahead. I'd either write it now and then get fed up because I couldn't post it, or put off writing it till nearer the deadline and get really worried that I wouldn't finish in time.

I think challenges/fests etc. and I just do not go together!

that whole far-off deadline thing might be a problem for me as well. Glad I dont have to wait to read more Master Plan though!
