I opened up my bigbang to start working on it for the day and decided to check the word count.
12345 words. :)
Almost makes me not want to write more because that is just SUCH a cool word count. Nah....

Which is why I really liked the dream of those two I had the other day and felt the need to write that one down. *ahem* Sometimes, I despise my subconscious. Other days, I couldn't be more pleased.

My premise when I started was 'haunted lake is really inhabited by aliens. Jack investigates" (Haunted lake being a lake I grew up near- lots of scientific oddities and myths around it)

That sounds awesome.

To help with length (think *pad the story*) It's half in flashbacks about when he was there the first time. The story also has an OC I introduced in another fic which'll help add word count

Ooo...I like Jack's flashbacks.

My muse is stubborn. Sometimes 200 words in a day is a fight, other times I can manage 1000 easy or even 2000. *shrug* If I could get a clearer picture of where the plot was going I'd be better off.
I'll get there- eventually
