A Rug and Recs
For some reason over the past few years here a lot of intersections with stoplights were replaced with roundabouts which I hate and are hard to see the locations of when stuff isn't plowed well but drove past two today that had been painted for Pride which was unexpected and neat.
It's too damn hot here though, high 80s into the 90s (31-33c) with high humidity and I already longing for winter.
I finished the sheet rug I was working on, it's a 'bigger' one (36" x 27") made of 2 twin sheets and two pillowcases
Despite using up all the bread and hamburger/hot dog bags I had with January's bag rug, I already had tons more so I have started a new one. Depending on the size, once I get through the current stash I might not finish it off then or put it aside to wait for more. Or not. They work best for shoes, etc and I don't think those need to be too big. Not that I need another plastic bread bag rug in the first place, but oh well. It's reusing something that would have been tossed instead of spending $$ on yarn to make something I don't need.

Summary Snippet: Basically a modern AU where lwj and wwx both take a semester abroad while in college. They were originally in different colleges and never met before. The Best Greens In My Garden by bizzarity (9.6k)
Summary: Lan Zhan's fancy new apartment comes with a decidedly un-fancy neighbor. That neighbor has a decidedly confusing habit. Well, confusing to Lan Zhan, anyway. (sweet, cute modern AU)
