birthday and blanket and recs
Thank you so much whoever gifted me a Dreamwidth paid account for my birthday! It was so unexpected and lovely to get the notif, I really appreciate it 💙
Daughter came over today and, knowing me so well, brought donuts as a joint birthday/mother's day gift. And she liked the afghan I'd just finished so took it home with her, along with the bread bag rug so a triple yay all around- I get donuts and two craft projects are out of the house.
It just occurred to me that instead of continuing to host images of stuff I want to post here on discord I could use dreamwidth's own image hosting so let's give that a try, here's the recently finished blanket:
I wound up trying a few different borders but not liking any so I just left it plain. It seemed to look better that way. (I forgot to take the photo after finishing it off so just pretend it's 100% completed instead of 99%)
I am between craft projects again though now, which I hate. As soon as I finish my h/c assignment I need to pick some new things to do.

Summary: After Wei Wuxian dies, he realizes that he has the unique ability to communicate with the living, and he uses this power to help other spirits move on. (A short canon divergent fic about what might have been during WWX's time during the 13 years he was dead and how it changes things once he returns)

- guy who is seriously going through the horrors of being fifteen (poor Ed)
MDZS/Untamed
- birthday comic for wen ning 🏹 (this is so sweet and absolutely adorable)
- bow and arrows hit no mark, but cleave the sky (excellent slightly scheming NHS)
The Muppets (Muppet Treasure Island)
- “Well, Master Hawkins, it seems your little family has come together against me.” (great look at nearly the whole cast)
Sherlock Holmes
- 221b Baker Street incredibly detailed annotated sitting room and bedrooms
ST:DS9
- rebel girlfriend + goop boyfriend (tender and sweet Kira and Odo)
ST:TNG
- Star Trek: The Next Generation by Rachael Stott (gorgeous 'Elementary, My Dear Data' art- original instagram post here)
