OMG Steven Moffat News

Everyone probably already saw this, but...

BBC Wales and BBC Drama has announced that BAFTA and Hugo Award-winning writer Steven Moffat will succeed Russell T Davies as Lead Writer and Executive Producer of the fifth series of Doctor Who, which will broadcast on BBC One in 2010.

See this press release for more details...

*does a happy dance*  OMG Steven Moffat!!!

For Numb3rs, they basically destroyed the whole premise of the show. Completely. I'm really interested to see how they work this one out.

Supernatural really disappointed me. Seriously, I saw that one coming from a mile away. I know they were kind of pressed to end the season with a bang, but I think they should've spent some more time on it.

Supernatural went out with a whimper, thats for sure.

Dean certainly deserved a better death than that.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 10:10 pm (UTC)(link)
it was just kind of... blah and lame and ho hum, he's dead

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Exactly. And then there was that little "oh, by the way, the creepy-ass demon child is suddenly powerless again Sam".

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
I had difficulty caring about that

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
They didn't give us much incentive to care.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
which leads back to the *sigh* bastards

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 10:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm beginning to think everything about TV inevitably leads back to that.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 10:24 pm (UTC)(link)
but at least they give us a little of this too

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
and thank heavens for that!

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Otherwise, we'd really have no reason to stick around. Well, no excuse, at least.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 10:47 pm (UTC)(link)
It's possible to watch shows without amazingly cute or hot actors, but by no means as fun!

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
sexy stars and donuts... all we really need in our shows

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-05-22 09:55 am (UTC)(link)
And the occasional bout of dispantsia.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-05-22 02:13 pm (UTC)(link)
How could I forget the dispantsia?

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-05-22 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
You haven't had your donut today?

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-05-22 08:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I haven't had a donut all WEEK. Something should be done about that!

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-05-22 08:31 pm (UTC)(link)
hmmm, I haven't made lunch or sinner plans yet (it's 330 here)

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-05-22 08:42 pm (UTC)(link)
oopsie, obviously I meant dinner.

eating today sometime would probably be a good thing

Suuure.

Eating is definitely a good thing.
