When spell checkers are *not* your friend

Dear Mr. Spellchecker,

Gibbs talking about being threatened by an ex-wife with cast iron is a smidge different than being threatened with castration.  The latter probably would have made him a bit more upset.  Quit trying to change it in my story.

It's an impressive skill to have!

Finding methods of torture in seemingly innocuous objects?

or creating clever quips out of the most ordinary of situations

Well, I do pride myself in getting that "wtf?" look from people.

I totally get that from my dad.

I especially love when it's followed by laughter. It's all about catching them off guard.

Your icon is so appropriate...

I had to check and see what LJ picked, yep it works quite well

Most of the time, at least.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-06-02 09:50 pm (UTC)(link)
ah, true that, sometimes it's persnickety

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-06-02 09:50 pm (UTC)(link)
It definitely has it's days.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-06-02 09:51 pm (UTC)(link)
both good and bad days, but more often than not I'm happy with it

Especially when it picks the combination of Tony and a donut in icon form...*sits back and admires*.

I loved how proud he was of his donut right there.

It's from "Family" this season (the second episode, I think) IT's a jelly donut and squirted all over him, but oh well

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-06-02 10:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I remember that. That was when Ziva followed him into the bathroom.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-06-02 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Ziva pissed me off in that episode. She annoys me a lot actually

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-06-02 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
She was an idiot in that episode. I'm hoping she's the one team member they don't bring back, in all honesty.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-06-02 10:13 pm (UTC)(link)
SO with you on that one. I'm tired of her love Tony/Hate Tony back and forth crap and her mushing up English is annoying. I work with a few Israelis and they DO NOT talk like that

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-06-02 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
She's obviously well educated and from a pretty prominent family. You'd think she'd have no problem with English. She doesn't seem to have a problem with any other language she speaks.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-06-02 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
and sometimes she uses contractions and sometimes she doesn't. And it's just annoying. And I'm sorry- but you don't follow people into bathrooms, no matter what sex they are
