Tony rounded the corner and stopped short. On the middle of his desk sat a jelly donut with a cup of coffee next to it, keeping it company. He approached it cautiously. It looked fine, more than fine. Fried to a perfect golden brown, its sugar coating glittered in the light and just a hint of red filling peeked out the side.
“You gonna eat it or stare at it?”
“Boss?” Tony tore his gaze from the donut to look at Gibbs. “This is from you?”
“It’s two years today, DiNozzo.” The tone was brusque, but without any heat behind it. “Don’t make me regret it.”
Tony wasn’t sure if it was hiring him or the uncharacteristic gesture of buying him a snack that Gibbs was implying he might regret. Knowing Gibbs it was probably both. Either way he didn’t care. Sinking into his chair he picked up the donut and took a bite. He’d just closed his eyes to revel in its heavenly delight when there was a sharp slap to the back of his head.
“We got a dead marine. Let’s go.”
Tony grabbed his backpack, the donut and the coffee. Life couldn’t get any sweeter than this.

And I bet the coffee was fixed with the right amount of sugar and such to Tony's liking and not Gibbs'.

Gibbs would totally buy Tony a donut for his two year anniversary. It's just so Gibbs. *sighs happily*
