Part three is up. I'm curious what you all thought of it. 

Joss has reaffirmed my opinion of him with the ending, which is not a good thing.  Sigh.

I suppose I should have seen it coming, especially since it's Joss, but damnit, I like happy endings!

I think the only option for him to be happy with her would be to give up evil, but since it kind of feels like they want to come back to this character later (it seems like a story to set him up, if you see what I mean) they couldn't have written it that way.

I like happy endings a lot less than I like interesting endings. But I still kind of wanted her to join him in the evil!

I hadn't thought of it as a set-up story until rustydog mentioned it, but yes, then they couldn't have the traditional happy ending. But I love your idea of her joining him on the evil side!
