Well this was supposed to be post of fic but *gah* so instead you get post of randomness of the humor and weird variety.

Driving home from work yesterday  I saw a guy on a motorcycle in full Scottish garb- the kilt, the sporran, everything.  I'm assuming he was on his way down to the Renaissance Festival, but the kilt was whipping around in the wind and I could only imagine the windburn he was going to get.

I thought it would be the weirdest thing I saw this week.  I was wrong.   Driving home from dropping daughter off this evening I stopped for a woman in a crosswalk walking what I thought was an ugly dog and carrying a teddy bear.  Nope.  She was carrying a little dog thing (not sure the breed but tiny and poofy and yippy) and walking a CAT.  A rather pissed off looking gray Persiany-looking cat on a green leash.

It was quite a weird thing to see.  Although, considering I got stuck working late because I spent 20 minutes explaining to someone one how 60 is MORE than 45 rather than less, maybe ending on a weird note is a good thing.

I want to get more animals- a dog or another cat, but fuzzbutt's too old and set in his ways.

Aww, I know what you mean. I'm starting to feel that way about the Fuzz, especially in a one-bedroom apartment - I think he might be able to get used to a dog if it was the right dog. (His first animal housemate was a dog and they were great friends.) But I feel like another cat would just be too upsetting. Maybe if I'd done it when he was younger.

Something light is easier than finding the right tone of something dark or deep

::nods:: True, especially with prompts I think.

All right, I am definitely walking up for donuts tomorrow morning. Or... this morning, I guess. :) I'd like to share!
