Well this was supposed to be post of fic but *gah* so instead you get post of randomness of the humor and weird variety.

Driving home from work yesterday I saw a guy on a motorcycle in full Scottish garb- the kilt, the sporran, everything. I'm assuming he was on his way down to the Renaissance Festival, but the kilt was whipping around in the wind and I could only imagine the windburn he was going to get.

I thought it would be the weirdest thing I saw this week. I was wrong. Driving home from dropping daughter off this evening I stopped for a woman in a crosswalk walking what I thought was an ugly dog and carrying a teddy bear. Nope. She was carrying a little dog thing (not sure the breed but tiny and poofy and yippy) and walking a CAT. A rather pissed off looking gray Persiany-looking cat on a green leash.

It was quite a weird thing to see. Although, considering I got stuck working late because I spent 20 minutes explaining to someone one how 60 is MORE than 45 rather than less, maybe ending on a weird note is a good thing.

oh yeah. They'd signed up for a single adult membership and paid the year in full at sign up (540/yr or $45 a mth) and a few months in wanted to switch to a family membership (720/yr or $60 a month). We said, No prob just pay for the difference (the $15 difference for the months left on the membership)- they argued we owed THEM money.
