Well this was supposed to be post of fic but *gah* so instead you get post of randomness of the humor and weird variety.

Driving home from work yesterday  I saw a guy on a motorcycle in full Scottish garb- the kilt, the sporran, everything.  I'm assuming he was on his way down to the Renaissance Festival, but the kilt was whipping around in the wind and I could only imagine the windburn he was going to get.

I thought it would be the weirdest thing I saw this week.  I was wrong.   Driving home from dropping daughter off this evening I stopped for a woman in a crosswalk walking what I thought was an ugly dog and carrying a teddy bear.  Nope.  She was carrying a little dog thing (not sure the breed but tiny and poofy and yippy) and walking a CAT.  A rather pissed off looking gray Persiany-looking cat on a green leash.

It was quite a weird thing to see.  Although, considering I got stuck working late because I spent 20 minutes explaining to someone one how 60 is MORE than 45 rather than less, maybe ending on a weird note is a good thing.

fuzzbutt is to lazy for that these days. If you twirt the ribbon about he'll bat at it for you. As a favor. because he knows it makes me happy. but he's not going to go out of his way to do that

We're playing "type a little, get up and give me things to chase until I get tired, rinse and repeat" at the moment. But laser pointers are good, if I'm really involved in something.

It works pretty well. He's napping again now. He's seven years old--he doesn't have as much chasing stamina at a stretch as he used to.

for tuna- or chicken, you bet! He's even woken up in time for other tasty delights. not surprisingly donuts are his favorites. he knows the sound of a bakery bag opening!
