Yep, no lasting damage and nothing spilled! It was stupid, though.

How's your hand? Did you get some ice - or frozen peas. Frozen peas are good.

did cold water immediately, then an ice pack, then frozen potatoes (hash browns- so they were basically pea-sized)

Now there's a light splotchy bit on the side of the palm that aches a bit (where the burn was the worst) and most of the rest of the palm feels tight, but overall- not bad and could have been a ton worse.

yep, but not smarts because after the 'damn that's hot!' when I immediately dropped it, I then tried to pick it up again *d'oh*
