Snowcat!

So, earlier today fuzzbutt insisted he wanted to go outside.  He scratched at the door.  He meowed at the door.  He yargled and clawed at the door.

So, I let him out.



I should feel bad about that... but oddly I do not.  I did, however, let him back in right after I took the picture.

Mine would commiserate with yours. They think I'm awful. I don't go to bed when they're ready. I don't have raw fish awaiting their every whim. I let it *rain*, for goodness sake!

I really can sympathize. First it's "OUT, OUT! Let me OUT because I WANT it!" Then it's "NOOOOOOOOO! This is NOT what I WANTED. Let me IN! IN! IN!"

It did stop him from complaining about wanting to go outside at least. Of course he did spend awhile complaining about his cold paws and damp tail and the horrors he'd had to endure.

It's snowing again today. Fuzzbutt however has decided sleeping on my lap (and cutting off circulation to my feet) is more important than experiencing the great outdoors

Unlike Lacey the Fuzzbutt was unimpressed with the winter wonderland. He's been less than thrilled with me since I let him out- apparently the snow is my fault

I swear my Scottie, Puzzle, is part cat, because that's exactly what she's like (she also behaves like Dinah, my brother and sister-in-law-to-be's cat). She yelps at the back door until you let her out and then she yelps like she's dying to come back in. Like if you don't appear immediately to help her, she's going to be eaten by wild boars. And one day, she will be eaten by wild boars and we will have ignored her. I've tried to tell her about the boy who cried wolf, but she's just like 'biscuits now, plebe.'
