it should be 50% off at least since Easter is over. Like they do with Halloween candy.

It *should* It absolutely should! The stores here had them anywhere from 4-30 cents off! Which is entirely unfair!

10% off? What are they thinking, it's supposed to be 75%! That way we don't feel quite so bad for eating all those Peeps and can stock up on duck-shaped candy (the only way I like ducks, other than with a nice orange sauce)

There were no peeps. No cadbury eggs. No chocolate bunnies. It was SO sad.

None at all!?! That *is* sad, what kind of store doesn't overstock the peeps! What kind of parents buy all the peeps to rot their kids teeth?

It was wrong on so many levels

If they are going to majorly commercialize major Judaic-Christian holidays they should at least remember to sell us themed candy at drastically reduced prices.

And speaking of oh so wrong and commercialization, have you ever come across any 'Easter/Passover' candy with Menorahs on them? I have, oh so commercialization gone so wrong or as my baby-sister asked one year "What do ducks have to do with Easter?"

I've seen menorahs and dreidels in chocolate for Passover. Some people are obviously unclear on the concept. :)

The aliens think we worship a fat man in a red suit who sneaks into houses and eats our food and that once a year rodents leave our children brown eggs that come out of the rabbits ass ;-)

Oh, and once a year we try to kill of an entire species of bird so we can become gluttons while sitting on our asses watching men in tight pants fondle each other ;-)

Really *really* not shakes head. Although at least yours has left over chocolate our local supermarkets had all sold out of eggs by Saturday morning :(

They had some bags of pastel wrapped hersey kisses and things like that. No eggs, no peeps, no bunnies, no massive chocolate overdose things.

Ah yes - my diet... I knew there was a reason my children didn't give me chocolate - it was because I TOLD them not to. WHY did I have to bring them up to listen to me. WHY??????

although... son's gf doesn't like cadbury's cream eggs - DO NOT ASK I HAVE NO IDEA (she may be an alien?) - so I did get to have that one

I am supposed to be on a diet (stupid blood sugar) so the lack of cadbury eggs is not a terrible thing) and I did manage to score one lone reese's egg (which I shall have to hide from the kids till after Passover)

We had 70% off Easter candy on Saturday in some shops already.

Most of the stores were closed here on Sunday.

My parents bought loads, but I didn't take any with me because I need to lose weight.

Ah, the old diet issue. Probably a good thing for me there wasn't a ton of candy either for the same reason
