I don't know what happened to his owners, but no way is that a stray cat. Aside from the weight (and eating rough doesn't pay *that* well), if you look at the speed he moves, he's used to having dinner come to him.

He might have been living in the person's garage snacking on the free dog food for awhile... but he sure is content about his predicament.

Yup. I bet his owners live half a block away max, and this guy gets dinner at five or six houses on the way.

If it had been me, I'd have put him back out on the street and told him to go home.
