Change Password Message?

Anyone else getting this after they post an entry?

Also, the server has a message for you:
Your password cannot contain symbols such as @,_, (),etc. Your password is too easy to guess. It's recommended that you change it, otherwise you risk having your journal hijacked. Please see http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=71 for LiveJournal.com's password rules, and visit http://www.livejournal.com/changepassword.bml to change your password.

I've gotten it a bunch of times. Funny how after 5 1/2 years they've decided my password is no good!

Oh good, it's not just me then.

I went to look to see what it considers a strong password and I actually already had that- numbers, a symbol, random capitalization... And I was confused. I guess it's just some oddness that's going on from LJ or something.

Me too. But I like my password. And I doubt anyone wants to pretend to be me... If I did not have to be me, I would not cheat for the chance to do it.

It looks like LJ is doing that for everyone, who knows why.

yeah, I do that too - I just capitalised 1 letter to make them happy.

I capitalize 2 actually, capitalization in random place is a trick an IT guy taught me way back. (Actually he also suggested you follow Tom Lehrer's advice and how he sings about his friend Hen3ry, the three being silent)

I did get a message like that as well:(

It looks like everyone is getting it. Must just be something they're doing.

Yep, I'm getting the same message. A lot of websites seems unimpressed by my passwords or security options these days. I'm getting similar messages all over the place. Very annoying.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2012-11-01 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
I wonder why there are so many all of a sudden? It's very odd

[identity profile] nakeisha.livejournal.com 2012-11-01 11:07 am (UTC)(link)
I get it every time I launch Semagic which is the client I use to post *sighs* It's rather annoying, I have to say.

How are you and your ankle?

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2012-11-01 03:15 pm (UTC)(link)
So apparently it has nothing against anyone's passwords specifically, it just wants us all to change them.

The ankle (technically fibula just above the ankle) hurts quite a bit at the moment, but it'll probably fade a bit soon. Healing sucks. :(

[identity profile] nakeisha.livejournal.com 2012-11-01 03:20 pm (UTC)(link)
So it would seem! Why I don't know, but there you go.

Oh, dear. I really do hope the pain does fade somewhat at least. It does.

*Hugs*

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2012-11-01 03:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks! A lot of the pain at the moment is from not being able to really move and having to sit/lay in certain positions for long periods of time. In theory I'll be getting the walking boot tomorrow so that'll mean I can get around a bit easier which should help.

[identity profile] nakeisha.livejournal.com 2012-11-01 04:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I can understand that - it's not easy.

Here's hoping you do get the boot and it does mean you can get around a bit easier *Good vibes*

Thank you!
