Things I learned on lj....
Cyborg pairs nicely with white wine, smoked gouda on arugula and a light prawn salad. Mousse is a must for desert. However, for the oldschool Cybermen, a genuine Mondasian merlot would be the only way to go.
Everybody needs a zombie-proof safe room, especially when a cat named Vincent guards the door.
*coatsex* is good thing
icon ping-pong is a sport (or at least it should be).
Flirting with death has more than one connotation, especially when it come to Jack.
Sardoodledom (mechanically contrived plot structure and stereotyped or unrealistic characterization in drama) is just a very cool word. There are many fics that deserve to be branded with the Wand of Sardoodledom, however
Fandom wars can be scary but its the Jam Wars you really need to keep an eye on.
Brain porridge is good with jam, especially rhubarb.
The mere mention of rhubarb pie filling these days will crack people up.
Speaking of food, lime and white chocolate scones with cardamom should be considered travesties, not edible food items.
Our reason from being terribly spellers does not come from abusing spellcheckers, rather the fact we learned our 3 R's in school... reading, writing and arithmetic, which, since they are actually an R, W and A, gave us a shaky foundation to begin with.
And that... LJ boils down to the 3 F's- fandom, food and friends *hugs flist tight*

I'm...I'm impressed.
you realize you're going to get a Jam Wars icon at some point in the (hopefully) near future, right?
also, the Rhubarb Pie Filling? yeah, I just about fell off my bed laughing.

But the jam is making more sense, even if I do have the urge to write toast!fic now...
Thanks for the links - much fun! *hugs back*

Would toast!fic include the toaster from Red Dwarf? ("How 'bout a nice piece of toast?" I loved that thing.)

Was that the day I spotted you growling??
I had to point out to someone the other day that their spoiler type warning (that they'd provided with the best of intentions) was, in itself, a spoiler. She was perfectly lovely about it though and changed it...
I think staying away from comms and just reading my f-list is the best answer.
