Things I learned on lj....

Cyborg pairs nicely with white wine, smoked gouda on arugula and a light prawn salad.  Mousse is a must for desert.  However, for the oldschool Cybermen, a genuine Mondasian merlot would be the only way to go.

Everybody needs a zombie-proof safe room, especially when a cat named Vincent guards the door.

*coatsex* is good thing

icon ping-pong is a sport (or at least it should be).

Flirting with death has more than one connotation, especially when it come to Jack.

Sardoodledom (mechanically contrived plot structure and stereotyped or unrealistic characterization in drama) is just a very cool word.  There are many fics that deserve to be branded with the Wand of Sardoodledom, however

Fandom wars can be scary but its the Jam Wars you really need to keep an eye on.

Brain porridge is good with jam, especially rhubarb.

The mere mention of  rhubarb pie filling these days will crack people up.

Speaking of food, lime and white chocolate scones with cardamom should be considered travesties, not edible food items.

Our reason from being terribly spellers does not come from abusing spellcheckers, rather the fact we learned our 3 R's in school... reading, writing and arithmetic, which, since they are actually an R, W and A, gave us a shaky foundation to begin with.

And that... LJ boils down to the 3 F's- fandom, food and friends  *hugs flist tight*

*blushes* Where y'all lead I follow? I'd had such fun with you, smithy, terry, rusty etall on some of those threads... although I'm sure there are a few people who just scratch their heads in wonderment and confusion at them

We bring wonderment and confusion to all! It's a gift.

Or as [livejournal.com profile] phoenix64 said, "Great Googly Moogly, that's some thread"

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-01-06 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
Great Googly Moogly! I love it!!!

Oddly, while the thread-o-doom was superfun, the tangents didn't have the same satisifaction and they do when you take a perfectly ordinary, innocent thread and flip it into the twilight zone of alien donuts and cybermen luncheon options

Oh, you mean the giant 5000-comment thing? Yeah, that was fun, but I know what you mean. Much more fun to spread chaos and confusion randomly.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-01-06 06:31 am (UTC)(link)
yeah, Becky's monstery thread. It was hilarious but you couldn't go off topic because there was no topic. It's better to have a writing meme suddenly turn into a discourse on the proper way to bestow a sugared scepter on the Baroness of Brownies....

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_medley_/ 2008-01-06 06:34 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, and more comments was serving the thread, whereas normally we're corrupting the thread. Or something. And yes, the sceptre was much appreciated.

...I need an "I'm making no sense" icon. Well, this one will do.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-01-06 06:36 am (UTC)(link)
corruption=good

That would be an awesome icon. I also need a 'oh noes' one

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_medley_/ 2008-01-06 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, yeah, I need one of those too.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-01-06 06:54 am (UTC)(link)
I love Terry's but I don't want to have the exact same one someone on my flist has, I'll find one eventually.

*eeek* it's 1am and I have to go to work tomorrow (well, today) off to bed for me, good night!

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_medley_/ 2008-01-06 07:00 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, yipes, I forget you work Sundays! Good night!
