Jack?  Please shut up.  You're supposed to be in a tale of intrigue and aliens, not having tea with a giggling four year old.  Remember the mystery?  The reason this whole stupid story is being written in the first place?  Do you think you can address that part sometime this century?

Plot=hard.  Tea and crumpets=fun.  *sigh*

They are a officially a cold weather teatime thing :D although we (well my family at any rate) will eat them for breakfast as well.

only cold weather? Not in warm weather? Well, I guess it doesn't matter because they are actually cookies anyway. She's offering Jack and her stuffed bunny rabbit them and calling them crumpets

Nope it would be terrifically bad form to eat them in warm weather don't you know. ;-)
Think scones and strawberry jam for summer and hot buttered crumpets for the winter.
