Bill the Cat for President

Okay, I'm probably showing my age here, but I've gotten a little annoyed with the calls by people questioning who I will be voting for on "Super Tuesday" (when so many states have primaries or caucuses).  I just don't think it's anyone's business but mine.  So, when I got the third call this morning I replied, "Bill the Cat." 

"Bill the Cat?"

"Yeah, I know he hasn't officially ran since 1988, but I think he'd be perfect for the job."

"A cat?"

"Yes, a cat.  And with luck he'll be able to get Opus on his ballot as VP again.  A cat and a penguin are just what this country needs."

Oddly enough, the annoying pollster hung up on me then... hmmm, I wonder why?

Am I the only one who remembers this?

I try not to be rude or randomly hang up on anyone... but *damn* they can be annoying sometimes. Saying "Bill the Cat" has now worked twice and quite easily. I am so happy

Yes. It's this hour long cartoon thing in which Opus sets out to save Christmas or something. There is warp-speed Santa in there. It's hilarious.
