I admit it. I screwed up. I quit, probably in the gruffest, most painful way possible. I said “You’ll do,” handed him my badge and gun and left him standing there, looking like I’d just punched him in the gut.
I should have said goodbye. I should have said thank you. I should have told him he was a good agent, that he was my friend, my lover and given him the respect and trust he always gave me.
But I didn’t.
I’m back now, but he doesn’t look at me way that he used to. His eyes are cold and distant, his tone clipped and careful. He acts like there was never anything between us but the job. Every interaction is terribly professional now. And I can’t find the words to make things right.
But I was never one for words.
So I fall back to what I am good at. Actions. I’ll make him understand why I did what I did. And why he needs to forgive me. I look down at him; naked and tied to the bed, the sleeping pill I slipped him starting to wear off. It’ll take some work, but he’ll be mine again.

Heh, I love that scene. As a matter of fact, I love that whole episode. Tony's adorable in it - and I love that he knows how to dance.

There's a line somewhere that refers back to the iguana scene.. something about Kate seeing Tony naked and he says no, he was wearing a chair at the time. :)

Yeah, I remember that, too, but I don't know in which episode they say that *wanders off to check wikiquote*

I only remember this information 'cause I really want to write a story in which Tony is a fighter pilot *bounces happily* Inspired by this icon, by the way :D

Tony in that uniform? With the shades and all? SEXY

The shades and the attitude and.. the idea kinda kills me dead. I want to write that :D

I like the idea of it being set in the present better. You have quite the long list of NCIS stories to write, don't you?
no subject
I do, yeah. I made a list of those that I really want to write (as opposed to those that I just sort of want to write), here (http://chatona.livejournal.com/73803.html) :D

I can write snippets in German, but technically, I can't really write in German. It's sort of embarassing that I write less well in my native language than in English *headdesk*

I'm all over the place as a writer. drabbles. snippets, ficlets, big fics.. everything

I want to be able to do that as well! :D

Sometimes I hate being a schizophrenic writer- I feel all over the place and like people don't know what they're going to get when they read my stuff

Heh, I guess the grass is always greener elsewhere :D

I used to know bits and pieces of Japanese, too, but I forgot all of those and it was never much to start with in the first place, and I had six years of Latin in school, but that's not exactly a language spoken in the streets..
