They have two cats. One will *only* drink out of master bath sink (which can not be left on but has to be turned on for him) and the other will only drink from guest room bathtub. He doesn't mind if it's left on all day but god forbid he goes in and you don't immediately appear to turn on the water!
Bwah! At least Sid only jumps up on the sink when I'm already there. If he thought he could convince me to follow him around and turn on faucets for him though, he would
Sid obviously knows that while he considers himself boss, you have control over the food bowl and messing with the person in charge of that is bad news.
better keep an eye on those credit card charges- just in case. you never know what cats can get themselves into late at night when everyone else is asleep
Heh. My cat does that too. Actually, he'll occasionally drink out of other containers - the water I draw for watering plants, the cold water I put out to soak my feet in hot weather. But never, ever, his water bowl. Sometimes I'm afraid he doesn't drink until I come home and turn the bathroom tap on for him.
I'd forgotten bathtub drinking cats! Minstrel used to perch on the edge of the basin and lean in to drink, but then we got a new basin and it's got much narrower edges so he can't do it anymore. :-(

And I'm impressed you got the kitty with her tongue out, it's not blurry or anything. Cute. :)
