Writercon update

Just in case some people have missed the announcement:

From now through midnight EDT Thursday, the basic donation rate for drabbles contributed to writercon100 will be $5 each. That's ten times what they generate under normal comm rules.

Our next drawing for Writercon Scholarship recipients is at the end of this month, so in order to know how much money we have to offer, we've got to get some pledges redeemed.

Matching grants will be paid at their original amounts, but the basic per-drabble donation will be $5.

So c'mon and play, and let's see how much scholarship money we can earn.

All you have to do is write 'em -- we've already got the donors who have pledged. It's a painless way to raise money for a great cause.

If you've got a drabble in you please write it and post it, it's for a great cause!

eta- I will write the requests I received in the meme yesterday, but first I'm going to attempt a bunch of drabbles for this!
