Gwen looked down at Jack, cold and still on the morgue table. "You're certain?"
"He's ice cold." Owen's tone was careful, almost kind. "No vital signs."
"He survived when you shot him. When I first joined, he said he couldn't die."
"He was wrong."
Ianto shifted over, putting his arm around Tosh when she started to cry. "Goodbye, Jack," he said sadly, rubbing his thumb over Jack's hand for a moment before nodding to Gwen who zipped the bag closed. "We'll miss you."
Then Owen pushed the slab in, shutting the door with a snick that echoed through the room.
