Challenge #1: In your own space, update your fandom information!
There's nothing really to update. I use different names in different places but most of my fannish things (AO3, DW and LJ) are donutsweeper and linked.

Challenge #2: In your own space, set some goals for the coming year.
I wanted to put myself out there more so I joined a new discord mentioned in a snowflake post.

Challenge #3: AUs
I love a good AU and fusion, I've read and written a ton, but I don't have any I'm pondering over at the moment.

Currently working on a collection of research links for historical Chinese clothing and perusing Chocolatebox prompts.

recthething - there's a great weekly rec post where people post random recs and there tends to be a decent number of other random posts.
c_ent - all your Chinese entertainment needs
fandomcalendar - great for learning about upcoming exchanges and the like

Also, even though I linked this the last two years, here's a link to the Masterpost of well over 900 useful links and resources. It's 10 posts worth of various links running the gambit for dozens of other ways to say common words like 'said' to resources to help write weapons, fights, injuries and then how to treat them, world building help, tons of history resources, "writers' guide to..." posts, etc.

Challenge #8: In your own space, celebrate a personal win from the past year
For the first time since 2015 or '16 I wrote something outside of an exchange. Three things, actually! Utterly shocking to me.

Challenge #9: Fandom Wrap
Fandomwise, I'm mostly in MDZS/Untamed and DMBJ frankencanons and dabble in others via exchanges and whatnot and I do the basics in them: read, kudos/comment, write, rec and chat about them. Nothing worthy of massive list making.

Challenge #10: Rec a fanwork you did not create.
I'm going to point everyone to recthething's Thursday Rec Posts. I've been reccing every week there for over a year, mostly lesser known or new (at the time) MDZS/Untamed fics and sometimes other Cdrama fic but also sometimes tumblr art or recs from exchanges. The comm has a great tagging system so you can look and see if anyone's ever recced for a fandom you're interested in.
