Hey everyone. I'm driving the crack_van for the tv show 'The Magnificent Seven' this month. I'm pretty sure no one on my flist has even heard of this show, let alone participated in the fandom but I figured I'd put some of my recs here anyway.

Here's the show's overview and it provides all the information you'll need to read fic in this fandom. Heck, you probably don't even need that much. I got into this fandom via crossovers and started reading its stories before even watching an episode. Then for the longest time all I'd seen was the pilot, which is up at youtube (minus the first few minutes, which youtube deleted for some reason).

The gen reading lover in me has found a magnificent bounty in this fandom and the amount of slash is mindboggling (not surprising though, I suppose, since the cast is made up of 7 quite handsome men). And what I find fascinating is that there are so many established universes to play in: the old west (the canon one), an ATF AU, the little britches verse (where a few of the characters are children), the escorts AU (the seven are prostitutes/escorts), a lawyer AU, search and rescue, racing (bicycles), park rangers, several space ones.... it's mind boggling.
