Pimping the Come As You Aren't Party!!!!

karaokegal is hosting another Come As You Aren't Costume Party for fic authors this year. The idea behind it is that what you write for it is a costume- something in a fandom you've never written in before, or a style that's atypical for you, or a length you never attempt, etc- in other words something few people would ever expect you to write. In previous years I wrote my first ever crossover, a story I knew would be Jossed within weeks, my first foray into Sherlock, a purposeful AU of canon and a turned left sort rewriting to an episode's ending.

This year I've two stories I'm attempting, an absolute indulgent trope (anxiety/food issues) in a new fandom (Teen Wolf, which makes it two different costumes, technically) and a horribly convoluted epic-ish Merlin story. *Yipes*

So anyway, the party is open to one and all so I hope you consider coming and joining the fun!!!

(If I manage to complete either, I may be begging for beta help so if anyone is familiar with either canon.... *makes puppy dog eyes*)
