Challenge #13: Make a rec list!

I've been reccing in the weekly community recpost over at recthething every week for over two and a half years now. Most often it's two or three lesser known or new MDZS/Untamed fics that I've come across but about once a month or so it's sometimes else random like recs from exchanges that just revealed or tumblr art. So here's a collection of some of my favorites of my recced art from tumblr (when possible, I use links that don't require tumblr accounts, but there isn't always one) from the past year. Fandoms are Addams Family, Batman, DCU, DMBJ, Greek Myths, Guardian, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, MDZS/Untamed, Merlin, The Mummy, The Muppets, Nirvana in Fire, Pacific Rim, The Princess Bride, Sherlock Holmes, numerous Star Treks, Supernatural and The X-files.

Addams Family: - INKTOBER 2020: #30 - Ominous (The whole family, being as Addamsy as expected and hoped for)

Batman: Robin Dick Grayson showing up to the crime scene but instead of his lil boots he’s wearing these - Robin in kermit the frog slippers. Adorable.

DCU: bruce is a tired dad (Bruce and Diana Pierce, utterly hilarious)

DMBJ - please don't go (I love you so) (absolutely gorgeous Hei Xiazi/Xiao Hua fanart)

Greek Myths (retold as chickens) - part one and part two (I think Egg-amemnon is my favorite, tied closely by Diom-egg-es)

Guardian
- after all this time... my first guardian fanart... and it's those other guys (freezer-room hostage scene our beloved tho) (Guo Changcheng and Chu Shuzhi, wow)
- Hei Pao Shi (very evocative Black Robed Envoy)
- Sometimes, Da Qing thinks he can nearly recall the hands that fastened the collar around his neck. (oh my heart)

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy/Douglas Adams - Don't Panic! It's Just The 'Cosmic Cutie' From The HitchHiker's Guide To The Galaxy (Knitted! So well done)

MDZS/The Untamed
- They are very in love (WWX and LWJ, and they look so happy too)
- the grandmaster of demonic cultivation (WWX in his grandmaster glory)
- I Want my Wei Ying Back, with apologies to Jon Klassen (absolutely hilarious NSFW comic)
- MDZS mapped to Gustav Klimt’s piece 'Medecine' (seriously amazing)

Merlin
- THE ONCE AND FUTURE KINGS (Absolutely gorgeous and tender)
- Dawn (amazing art of Arthur post battle)
- unlabeled pencil sketch (intricately detailed sketch of Merlin and Arthur riding up to the castle)
- The Young Dragonlord "made these as kidlit illustration practice while i was rewatching bbc merlin" (really adorable, I wish they'd made a whole book's worth)

The Mummy - Happy 24th Anniversary to the movie, ever! ✨ (Adorable drawings of most of the cast)

The Muppets: “...distinct, huh? More like extinct.” - Gonzo, in all his sartorial glory

Nirvana in Fire - Set of four Nirvana in Fire illustrations (really wonderful art of Mei Changsu, Mu Nihuang, Xiao Jingyan, etc)

Pacific Rim - Mako Mori (my beloved) sketch in honour of Pacific Rim’s 10th anniversary! (really love the color usage in this)

The Princess Bride - as you wish (the grandfather and grandson, very sweet)

Sherlock Holmes - Sherlock Crowmes (Sherlock Holmes as a crow, adorable)

Star Trek: The Animated Series - The Animated Series redraw Meowterprise series (Meowterprise = everyone is a cat, check out the tag for it)

Star Trek: TOS
- i'm sorry but women are so much more fun to draw than men (gorgeous monochrome Uhura)
- Starfleet standard issue ponchos (cute Kirk and Spock sketch followed by a hilarious comic)

Star Trek: DS9 I think the turbolift is stuck… (Hilarious 30 second DS9 animation with many of the characters)

Supernatural - The Winchester Brothers (brilliant use of shadows in these watercolor paintings)

X-Files - im watching x files again (Mulder and Scully, love this)
