Grief/Mourning Flash Exchange 2024 had author reveals so I can claim the treat I wrote for it:
A Future, Shattered and Up in Smoke - Under the Skin fandom, 300 words. Summary: Shen Yi had thought he'd known what his future would hold for him. He was wrong.

The weather here has been nuts, it hit 54f(12c) yesterday, typical temps should be more in the 10-20f range (-12 to -6c) and there should be a lot of snow cover. There is none. I didn't even grab a coat when I ran the recycling out. January should not be t-shirt weather. WTF.

I've started a new plastic bread/bagel/bun bag rug. Do I need another rug? No. Do I have a place to put it? Also no. But the drawer I shove the empty bags in was too full to close properly and making a rug is a lot less wasteful then just tossing the bags.
